After years behind a pharmacy counter, filling hundreds of prescriptions a day, day after day, I’d stopped seeing patients as people. 

To me, they had become just more prescriptions to process, just more bottles to fill, and just more problems to manage. I had stopped caring…and that was on me.

Then I had the opportunity to work in a dental office, side-by-side with dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants, and I saw firsthand how you dental professionals truly care for your patients, how you make a difference in their lives every day, and how you might save a patient’s life…just because you care.

That experience changed everything about how I saw dentistry, how I saw my own profession, and, most importantly, how I saw myself and the person I had become.

Starting that day, and every day since, I have made it my mission to do whatever it takes to pay you back…in the only way I actually knew how. 

If I could make pharmacology practical and useful for every member of the dental team, then, just maybe, I could give back to all of you what you had so unselfishly given to me.
